Lyme-Old Lyme Crew Sees Team Wide Success at 2017 Connecticut Public Schools Rowing Championship

On Sunday, LOLHS Crew traveled to Lake Waramaug in Kent, CT for a final time for one of its biggest regattas of the spring season: States. Both the boys and girls faced off against all the other Connecticut public school crew teams for a thrilling day of racing. The boys in the varsity eight repeated last year’s bronze medal performance, while the third and fourth fours won gold and silver in the boys’ four race. The girls, too, put up great results, with both the varsity four and the 2nd varsity four winning gold in their respective races. All together, the team won the Perry Trophy for the most points earned in fours races. Here are the results (taken from row2k.com):

Next Saturday, Lyme-Old Lyme Crew will be heading to Lake Quinsigamond in Worcester, Massachusetts for the New England Interscholastic Rowing Association Championship.
