Technicolor

December 1, 2016

Hi

I’m just a girl

In a Technicolor world.

What a difference

Just a bit of color makes.

It used to be

Silver and obscure.

If and when

I could develop the images

As they are,

And not as I saw them.

Now, in an instant,

I see the blue scintillas

Between our lips,

And the magma warmth of ebullient desire

Creeping out from the

Gaps of our knotted fingers.

Behind your eyes,

I see new ideas exploding

And love flourishing

In a firework-blossom sky.

I’m sorry for peeking.

I’m getting used to this new lens.
