One of our newest teachers, Ms. Gannon, has recently and suddenly resigned form her position here at LOLHS. Her departure came as a shock to many of her students. Students were told that Ms. Gannon’s classes would be taken over by fellow members of the English department, and will be picking up where Ms. Gannon left off. Parents of those who used to be in Ms. Gannon’s classes received a letter shortly following her departure, stating that a different teacher would be taking over her classes, undoubtedly meeting the expectations and level of education Lyme- Old Lyme is known for.

Ms. Gannon was regarded by students as a largely impactful positive force in our school- someone who was “always smiling.” We wish Ms. Gannon the best in all that she does!
