The Old Lyme Players present Nice Work If You Can Get It! This story follows a rich playboy, Jimmy Winter (Mason Wells), who will be getting married to the finest interpreter of modern dance, Eileen Evergreen (Alexis Grasdock). Set during the Prohibition Era, Mr. Winter stumbles upon the bootlegger Billie Bendex (Anna McAdams) who flips his world upside down during the weekend of his fourth wedding! This show has many comical characters like Cookie McGee (Dominic Clark) and Duke Mahoney (Andrew Taylor), who are strung along on Billie’s love story.

The Cast is very excited to present this show as we count down the days till opening night when this show goes live! Nice Work If You Can Get It runs from February 8-10 at 7pm with a matinee show on the 10th at 2pm. It features many songs by George Gershwin which gives it a classical feel amid its comedy. The show has many large dance numbers all choreographed by Bethany Haslem who brings so much joy to rehearsals.
