On Saturday, September 14th, our school’s robotics team hosted the annual Bash @ The Beach competition in the gymnasium, consisting of 23 teams. The purpose of the competition was to show what it was like to be gracious professionals to aspiring robotics enthusiasts. Throughout the competition, teams repaired, collaborated, and shared techniques on how to improve their robot for the finals. In the last half of the competition, Team 236 Techno Ticks (LOLHS) had to sit out due to an odd number of teams. But that didn’t bring their spirits down. Before they knew it, a competing robot broke! So, the Ticks were back at it. This competition concluded the 2023 FIRST Robotics season and brought joy to all the team members on a successful season.
